Had a team lunch here for work on a sunny March day. The restaurant had a minimal contemporary feel, decorated in neutral pale colours. Obviously they specialised in steaks, so that’s what I ordered! They had a choice of several cuts, rump, sirloin, rib eye, fillet, new york strip, either UK beef aged for 28 days, or American aged 35days. I went for the new York strip 280g US, medium rare with bernaise & hand cut chips. Steak came on a wooden board with rocket on the side, it was very succulent & went well with the bernaise with a hint of tarragon. Overall it was an enjoyable experience, service was good & food was decent. My only gripe was that it was expensive(£30) for a steak… I’ve paid less in Michelin starred restaurants! Good thing I wasn’t paying then.
