It can be a good night out here if you go with a few friends, and placing bets is easy and quickly done. The place itself is clean and nice, and the bars are pretty good. The food has it’s infamous pie and peas, it’s nothing special really not the best thing I’ve ever ate but typical of these sorts of places!
Last time I went I didn’t come away with any winnings, had an unlucky night, but it can be good fun watching your dog run round and cheering it on!

In my opinion Sunderland Dogs is a great night out and is good for family groups, works parties as well as girls/​boys nights out. There are usually lots of offers on, especially if you are going as part of a group. You can pay a figure usually between £10 and £20 and you get some free drinks, a food voucher which will give you something like pie and peas or chips and a sauce and a race card and entry. How to bet is easily explained in your guide and the minimum for betting is about 50p so it doesn’t have to be an extorionate night. All in all a good night!

If your looking for a night out with a difference, a night at Sundarland dogs fits the bill. If you have a minimum party of six people you can get different types of deals. Probably one of the most popular packages is £10 pp for admissioninto the stadium, 3 drinks vouchers, a £1.50 meal voucher along with a programme of races. If you pay for drinks at the stadium they cost around £3 for a bottle or pint, so its worth it. The food is only basic like pie and peas or burger and chips, but at least its a bite to eat. At the front of your programme there is a betting guide, which will explain the different type of bets and how to place bet — so dont worry– and if you still unsure a friendly member of staff will help. There is also a separate trackside reataurant where you can get a meal usually a carvery for around £17 — but you need to pre book. A fun place to have a night out.

I visited this place for a christmas night out last year and it was fantastic. You can usually get great deals on big groups of people and it ends up being a really cheap night. Even better if you win on the dogs!!!

offers greyhound acin of a very high standard with excellent viewing facilties. It has a range of bars and restaurants with a good hoice of food an drinks which caters for all tastes and clientele. Staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent customer service. we have enjoyed many evenings there as a couple and with friends.
