Not a bad supermarket on the whole, but does appear to have gone downhill lately. Staff are friendly and helpful on the whole, although it does seem to depend what department you are visiting at the time– staff on the chilled dairy/cut meats/milk section made you feel as if you were in their way, and weren’t exactly helpful, whilst the till staff were friendly to a point(the spectacle of watching the person in charge humiliating her staff didn’t exactly make me want to come back!!). All the other departments were really helpful and friendly(10⁄10), although the store seems chronically understaffed compared to other supermarkets. If you are going to visit, try and get there early(ish) — a lot of the departments tend to share staff, and you may find yourself being served by someone that doesn’t know what they are doing(fish counter is pretty bad for this!). Basically, expect your usual supermarket experience, the only thing I can recommend this for over other stores is the bakery– superb first class bread, and actually better than anywhere else in the area, a genuine surprise as have come to expect low quality mass produced items, not so here. Would have given a higher score, but having to hunt for a member of staff to talk to/get served by was annoying– perhaps if the company had employed more staff rather than buying fancy counters(admittedly the produce section is very pretty) I wouldn’t be stood staring at an empty counter waiting to be served– a pity as I have shopped here for five years, and now only go to the shop out of convenience as opposed to genuinely enjoying my experience:(

This is just your aveage supermarket but it’s great for bargains! They always have decent special offers on and reduced food. The customer service is average, you can get your very helpful staff and your moody staff but this is the same as any shop! I’ve found the check out queue’s are never really bad, you can wait a while but this goes for any supermarket during busy times. The car park can be hell during busy times, it’s not very big for a supermarket and it’s quite tight and can be hard to drive around, you can often find yourself in a queue to get out the thing! There is a Morrisons petrol station here, great to get cheap petrol from which is always available from supermarket petrol stations! I recommend joining the morrisons miles scheme, earn points and get a voucher to spend in store!

Morrisons is like every other Supermarket in my opinion. They have a bit of everything for average prices. The thing that sets it apart from other supermarkets is the large amount of parking spaces, I have never been unable to find a space. Also the salad bar is an unusual twist, where you can make your own salad and put it into a plastic container yourself, so it meets your individual needs. Also the fish counter is quite large, personally I am not a fan of fish, but it is great for people who are.

Morrisons is located on the seafront at seaburn. It has easy access and lots of parking bays, especially childrens parking next to the main doors. Cash machines are located at the outside of the store. It is a great big store and has very good special offers, such as buy one get one free and 3 for 2. There is an area where you can get cooked chickens, pies and snacks which are reasonably priced. Fresh cheeses of all varieties are really good and are available in this store. At the end of the day, fresh items such as bread, cakes, cooked chickens, fruit and vegetables are practically given away at really cheap prices. A nice store with cheap offers if you have a good look around.

morrisons is a really great supermarket and i really think it has come into its own in the past couple of years or so. i used to think that they could never really rival the huge chains like asda or tesco but now i think they could be beating them. — their shelves offer a variety of products and are always well stocked — staff go out of their way to help find products and to serve you at the checkouts — they have loads of bogofs and at the moments they even have buy 1 get 2 free on soft drinks bottles and pringles! what could be better than that?! the morrisons at doxford park is also very good, i have started to shop their more often now. ooo i nearly forgot the café! this is soooo good! their meals are really good value and top quality for those on a budget.

I tend to visit this Morrisons in the summer instead of my local on as it is on the sea front and you can spend the day there as a family at the beach and arcades then do you weekly shop. This store has a large carpark with plenty of spaces The store itself is always very clean and tidy and the staff are always happy to help. The quality of the food at this supermarket is fantastic. The salad bar is great and they have the best range of fresh meat out of all the supermarkets and you cant beat there range of cream cakes. Keep a look out for there great deals they have a lot of bogof offers running.

Seaburn is my local Morrisons and although we don’t visit very often, we do pop in from time to time. I think the best thing about Morrisons is definitely their salad bar and also the choice of freshly cooked foods! You can choose your own and as I remember it’s fairly reasonably priced. There’s always lots to choose from, though I advise that you do not go after 6pm as often the assistants are clearing things away. We have also picked up some great bargains at the bakery aisle, including 50p cream cakes and boxes of mini chocolate muffins. You just have to know the times to go in to bag the bargains ;) Staff are generally fine, though I sometimes find that the checkout assistants are quite rude about giving carrier bags not sure why this is — perhaps company policy?! I don’t know but I find it a little offputting that I am buying my shopping from them yet they skimp on little things like carrier bags.
