Just went to the Boathouse for Sunday lunch — What a mistake, overpriced, poorly cooked and meager portions. Service left a lot to be desired. We had to ask for more vegetables, and we were charged for them. The Yorkshire pud was burnt, the beef fatty and the roast potatoes grease laden and undercooked — all this at 1pm when everything should have been fresh! Never again — give this place a miss!

Great value for money. Food always well executed. Staff friendly although service can sometimes be a little erratic when particularly busy.
Super spot overlooking river and bridge.
Good selection of reasonably priced wines.
Menu could change more frequently.
