What a great little pub!
The highlights were the real ales, a decent draught cider selection (including Hogan’s, Thatchers etc) and a variety of scotch eggs to satisfy your bar snack needs (black pudding ones, Cumberland ones etc. for only £2.50).
The pub itself is a lovely old fashioned looking type with several working fireplaces, and a piano. Also a nice garden of a fairly decent size with benches on the lawn, under the porch, and in a little covered area at the back, which has a stove installed.
Located next to the park, which is another bonus. I’d definitely come here again, preferably not driving this time!
Kids are allowed outside but not inside.

Nice looking pub with 3 x real open fires, real ale including Wye Valley HPA and Tim Taylors Landlord. Well worth a visit.
