51’s is a great late night bar in the increasingly bohemian, Stokes Croft. There are almost 3 parts to 51’s: the downstairs bar and dance floor areas, the upstairs dining area and the large open courtyard at the back. During the summer, the courtyard is an awesome space that gets really busy. They have recently got rid of the standard benches and added more communal seating. It looks good. During the weekends you’ll find live bands and DJ’s kicking out some awesome tunes and creating a different atmosphere to anywhere else in the area. It’s not as ‘crusty’ as some of the other bars/pubs. I’m sure you know who I’m on about. Pizza is where these guys really excel. The butternut squash pizza is one of the best vegetarian pizzas I’ve ever had. But they are all good. I’ve tried nearly all of them. This is a solid all rounder and a trusty place for day or night time drinking. Long live 51’s!

This is my favourite place in stokes croft. It’s got everything thing you want, great pizza, great music and a awesome selection of booze !! I have been going in here for many years and it just keeps getting better. The pizzas are very reasonably priced and each of them are as good as each other, my personal favourite is the chorizo and rosemary… delicious The décor is very stokes croft as is the quirky outside seating area . Do yourself a favour and go to number 51 for a proper night out

Great late night venue in Stokes Croft. Live DJ sets, dancing, stone baked pizzas. Downstairs you can dance til your hearts content, or head upstairs instead for a vintage and cosy feel. There’s a cute little outdoor area too. Well worth a look and open late most evenings, I was there Tuesday til 2.30am, dancing to the tunes. Highly recommend

I LOOOOVE this place. First time visiting today with a friend. The pizza’s are crazy good. They offer 2 for £12 before 8pm most weekdays. We both had the chorizo, sausage and rosemary pizza and some house rose wine which was superb. Costing all together about £15 each-pretty damn good! The décor is really nice with a vintage cool theme, lots of comfy couches and tables with a nice view, tiny wee bar but the drinks they serve are yummy. Another floor down and theres more bar space, bathrooms and under the stairs a secret set of quiet tables if having a romantic meal… Defo will be going back for another go maybe trying another pizza that caught my eye followed by more of that wine, must find out what it is! Gem in stokes croft, 110% worth a visit
