Minh’s is a favourite for people in Stoke-on-Trent. An Oriental buffet restaurant with plenty of choice, good food and most importantly. a massive chocolate fountain. Most nights you will not struggle to get seated although if it is a large group then pre-booking a table is advised. It is a good place for social occasions such as birthdays or work functions as the volume is quite low so conversation is easy. It is also worth noting that it is next to the Victoria Hall and Regent Theatre so maybe a good place for a pre/post show meal. The staff at Minh’s can get on your nerves a bit. They’re quick to swipe your plate, sometimes doing so before you’ve chewed your final mouthful. And if it’s near closing time they will not hesitate to tell you so which I found a bit rude. Price wise, it’s okay. Lunchtime buffet is under a fiver which is a bargain, Sundays are also a fiver but at evenings and peak times expect the prices to double. Drinks prices are quite high so order a jug of water for the table. Parking is available on the street outside although it’s all pay and display. Worth checking out if you want a bite to eat in Hanley.
