Costa Coffee

Costa coffee costa fortune lol i will admitt the coffee is nice but hell the prices are so expensive.
I think the place is very very cramped and its a place where the smokers tend to hang out has its the place they can go for a coffee and a fag now that the bn .
The only positive point about it is the staff they are really friendly and nice .
So them 2 stars go to the staff

Not the best place in Hanley to sit in but definitely the best for taste. The staff are all quick, efficient and friendly (put it this way they don’t get a decaff skinny latte wrong like Starbucks do). The coffee is divine and the cakes, sandwiches and pastries to die for. It is pricey but all coffee bars are if you want cheap go to the market instead. The place itself is ok to sit in as there are a few sofas around. Unfortunately it has an outdoor area which is completely taken over by smokers all year round (I’m an ex-​smoker so am allowed to complain :)). It means that you can’t sit out when the weather is nice in fear of stinking of smoke. In the winter it’s worse as someone is always coming and going from outside creating a stinky draft throughout the whole place. I really want to give this one five stars for the best coffee but that wouldn’t be fair so it’s only a three on balance :(.
