BHS is a large store selling pretty much what you would expect from BHS. The fashion does tend to be a little old fashioned and aimed at the older generation. BHS really could do with following in Marks & Spencer’s footsteps and introducing some more fashionable ranges to attract younger customers. Their homeware is very good and they have some lovely things although the prices can be a little more expensive than some other stores. On the plus side BHS have some great offers on, especially in the run up to Christmas, and they have recently had an offer on for 20% off everything. You can find some nice gifts for Christmas and good wrapping paper and cards but in the rest of the year the homeware is probably the only section worth looking in.

Bhs seems to be one of those stores that hasn’t changed at all in probably the last decade
Now my opinion of BHS is brilliant for over priced christmas gifts but the clothes are ones that you buy for older people
The store is massive and very well spaced out but can get bad at xmas time with the ques the air conditioning is poor its that hot in there you could pass out .
The staff have high level customer service skills and are more then happy to help out .
bhs also do a lovely range of home wear and xmas decorations gearing up to xmas and just recently there has been a new store opened in hanley full of home wear
