SCS

So we’ve basically been redesigning our house all the way from top to bottom at the moment. This has meant loads of upheaval (i.e living and eating out of our bedroom for 6 weeks which I never want to do again — it was like being a student again — and not the good parts of being a student!) — but in the end it’s been worth it.
Part of the pain has been the need to go and visit places like SCS to choose new carpet — I literally hate spending time at these sorts of places — #boring
But the overall smoothness of going in, being suggested to what we needed for our budget and ordering a fitting date was as easy as apple pie. Really no probs at all. But the other side of the coin were the fitters…
A team of 2 — the younger guy was excellent and doing most of the work where as the older guy just moaned about the fact that we had 2 flights of stairs, that we should have been charged more by SCS to fit etc etc and this was so unprofessional — really not what I as the customer wanted to hear and put me off buying SCS again. After spending nearly £600 on carpet and fitting I just wanted ease but really this was just as unpleasant experience.
