Sainsburys is the least irritating of the big-idiot supermarkets,(Tescos, Morrisons, Somerfield, ASDA) The reason for this is that it DOES stock a decent amount of organic food and also makes more of a gesture than any others to provide at least Organic and free range meat. Sainsburys has got all the things that a huge supermarket like this should have except a petrol station, so if that’s what you’re looking for you’re out of luck sonny.

This is located in Hazel grove right next to the A6. I use this for my weekly shop and I think it’s pretty good. There is a bus top right next to it. Friendly and helpful staff. There is a huge choice of food and a deli, fishmonger and bakery counter. Theres is a newsagents type kiosk for papers and cigs etc. There are self service tills for customers with baskets at the end, sometimes they are a bit awkward to use but there is always a member of staff to help. There is a big free car park outside. There are two cach machines outside too.

Sainsburys in Hazel Grove is massive! It’s located on the A6 and has a really large free car park. They have cash machines outside and also a self service area for when the shop is shut which is useful if you run out of bread or milk! Inside the store has a really large selection of clothes and shoes. These are well made and really reasonable prices. Sainsburys in Hazel Grove also sells electrical items such as hoovers and kettles and they have a large café. The store also has a pharmacy, fresh fish counter, fresh meat counter and bakery. There are self service tills as well as the usual tills. The store can get pretty busy at weekends but during the day you don’t usually have to queue long.
