Edgeley Library

Not a bad place if you want to very easily do your ‘librarying’ in a fairly quiet and chilled out place. Ok it’s quite limited in terms of what they offer but they do stock quite a few new books as well as being able to order books in for you from nearby Stockport libraries.
There’s a decent graphic novel section, loads of chick lit (for my wife of course ;-)) and if you have kids then you’ll be pleased to know that there’s a huge section for them — where they also have regular story time sessions.
There’s a few good computers in there to browse the net and with it being fairly quiet it’s basically very easy to return books on their computer system or with a librarian.
A great little place at the heart of the community.
