Bob’s Buttons has been run by Bob Spencer and his family for more than 50 years. Not only is it a treasure trove of haberdashery, it is such ridiculously good value you wonder how he makes a profit and keeps running. He has threads, trimmings, elastics, needles and all sorts of other things I couldn’t name. He opens on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Tuesdays are the day that there is a fabric seller on the outdoor market so maybe make a visit then.
