Hobbycraft in Stevenage is located in the Roaring Meg Retail Park so you can only really get to it by car. The great thing about that(if you drive!) is that you can park right outside the door and shop to your heart’s content without the worry of how you’ll carry it all homeThe shop is spread over two floors and although this isn’t the hugest Hobbycraft I’ve ever been in, the shelves are all packed with a good variety of craft products to suit all mediums and budgets. I especially like the Hobbycraft value packs they do on some items like they often have 50 peel offs bumper packs for £9.99 which is pretty unbeatable value. It can be a pain having to queue for a while during really busy times but other than that there’s not much to grumble about.

Very large, spacious shop, with a great variety of art supplies. The products can sometimes be quite expensive, although you do get very good quality products. They have products for people of all ages, from kids to adults and it is very good place to buy presents. The service is very good, shop layout is very good.

This is a really good shop. The amount of stuff they sell is amazing! You can find things here that you won’t find anywhere else, and for people that are into crafts it is heaven! It’s a great place to get stuff for kids too & to buy presents.

I have to say this is a great shop for all your arts and crafts. My daughter and I can spend hours and lots of money in there. They have every type of craft imaginable and quite often have sales of items you can get cheaper. They have great large soft foam shapes that I use at a Toddler Club I help run that we use for various activities. Worth having a look.

Its a good place to go if you’re looking for that last little elusive touch that you just can’t find anywhere, as they are practicly guarenteed to have it. Its also worth going for a browse if you’re up the roaring meg anyway, but i wouldnt advise going here for all your art and craft supplies as it is ridiculously expensive for most things that aren’t on offer.

I like this place. It is absolutely huge and has everything you can possibly imagine for crafts. My kids love it too, as it sells a lot of kid orientated kits, such as jewellrey making. These kits are really cheap and quite often they two for one, or three for two offers on. They also do promotions of seasonal items, when I was there last week, I noticed they had a lot of Halloween and Christmas items. Talking of Christmas, it is a good place for presenta, I often buy my kids presents from here, especially when they have the offers on. My only complaint is that some of the smaller items, for example beads, seem a bit overpriced. I would definitely check Ebay first.

Stevenage is not big on arts and crafts suppliers but here you can find most things. I wanted glue sticks and wide velvet ribbon and they had it. Expensive to my mind but often have sale and bargain bins, Look online to see what they sell as you won’t find it anywhere else in this town or really nearby.
