The Staines branch of Waitrose is quite large and is in the middle of the Two Rivers shopping centre in Staines. It really took a couple of years before it got busy so it wasn’t out of the ordinary to be the only person in there with a whole line of checkout staff falling over themselves to serve you. Waitrose is undeniably more expensive than its Staines rival Sainsbury’s and it’s easy to poke fun at some of the posh things the supermarket stocks(brie and sun-dried tomato tartlets anyone?). However, if you’re looking for something out of the ordinary and don’t mind spending a little extra then this is the place for you. The variety of wines available is great and the deli counter is equally good. The whole store is always tidy and very clean. There’s a nice coffee shop, clean toilets and if you spend over £15 in store you get some money off your parking costs.
