Went out to this pub for a birthday meal, the pub set by the river serves great food and drink, all four of us agreed the food was very good. Highly recommended by all.

this is a nice meal pub, food is excellent, beer is okay. prices are reasonable. location is good as its on the main road to Stafford from rugeley.

a really nice counry pub, next to the garden centre, wildlife trust (nice to go for a pre meal walk) and a few quaint shops. Serve really nice food, recommend the chicken with wild mushrooms, had a starter as well but was too full to try a pudding though they sounded really nice. if you dont drive the arriva 825 stops outside the pub, only stops off once every hour in the eve tho. food was priced fair, also has a good selection of wines beers, spirits ales, and i think i saw a cask cider as well, plenty of parking, might be worth booking a table as it does get busy
