Great traditional boozer with a good selection of real ales & cider. The décor is a bit shabby but that’s more than made up for by the very friendly atmosphere. Good reputation for live music with acoustic acts (mostly covers) on Saturday nights & an open mic night every Thursday.

Joxer Brady’s is a great place, with a friendly atmosphere and decent range of drinks. The often have live music with jam nights etc. and have a great range of local artwork for sale, displayed on the walls of the pub.

Joxer Bradys is great on Thursdays. They have a jam night from around 8 or 9pm where local people just get up and have a bit of a sing or play the guitar. Its always pleasant and sometimes some really talented people turn up (like Dan the Banjo Man!)
Its a man bar. They dont sell cocktails and they dont have a big selection of spirits. They do sell a tasty pear cider though, and have a different guest ale every month.
