A lovely place for a hotel with beautiful grounds and a path right down to the beach. St Ives is a very pretty town right by the sea which is popular with artists of all descriptions. The hotel itself has the potential to be absolutely stunning but at the moment it needs a lot of work doing to it. The carpets are all frayed and dirty and the room we stayed was damp and quite smelly. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and fresh. The evening meal left a lot to be desired but the buffet style breakfast was excellent and really set us up for a long drive home.
