What an unexpected treat to find in the front-​of-​house area of an arts centre! The atmosphere is very laid back, but the service is anything but. Food arrived within 10 minutes of ordering at the bar — we all appreciated that as we were ravenous!
Good choices for veggies or seafood lovers as well as carnivores, and the prices are very reasonable too — the veggie nasi goreng was only £7.75 for a decent-​sized portion. You can’t argue with that.
Although it is the front-​of-​house bar area, it feels more like a hipster café; indeed I wasn’t actually aware that there was a show going on elsewhere in the centre.
Great value food, trendy atmosphere, fast service. Thumbs up on all fronts.

CafeJac is now a standard for me. Good food, nice laid back service and a nice cup of brewed coffee.
Whenever in Jersey for the weekend I must have their egg burritos for breakfast. They kind of remind me of home and the staff now knows to find me the bottle of Tabasco!
Their dishes for lunch are also really yummy with that healthy twist that reminds me of California. The curries come with brown rice. They also have a nice vegetarian selection.
