A nice homely place to go, excellent food from Mel and the girls, especially Sunday Lunchesstuffing to die for with proper peas and plenty of meat with tasty gravy and yorkshire puddingfinish off with a traditional sweet, with custard, perfect!

I really love this place, go here everyday if i could its beautiful, it just looks like any old pub from the outside, but inside its really cosy. The meals are homecooked and the portions are brilliant for the prices you pay.
You have a wide range of food to choose from which include homemade fish & chips, all different types of burgers, bacon and saugage baps with chips etc.
They also do puddings such as fudge cake yum yum.
The service is also excellent.

From the outside this place looks like nothing special. Once inside you will find a lovely, homely pub. The main attraction to this place for myself has been the absolutely lovely homecooked food that is available at incredibly good prices.
It seems a husband and wife own the place and they are quite friendly. The inside is spascious and there is an IT box for those wishing to play games. There is also a small enclosed section at the back of the pub for those wishin to have a litle more privacy whilst having their drink.
Once again I must return to the lovely food. Since it is homecooked it is fresh, tastes lovely and the prices are a lot cheaper than virtually everywhere else in the town for equivalent food. The portions are very good. I will be going back again and again for as long as the food and the pleasant service continues.
