Cafe Des Amis

The Café Des Amis is situated in the centre of St. Albans opposite the old Town Hall. There is limited parking at a cost on the road outside. Otherwise try the Christopher Place Multi Storey car park.
The café is quite small with a 1920’s façade. Inside it has oak panelled walls and is decorated in 1920’s pictures. The staff are friendly and attentive. The restaurant serves Morcoccan food alongside traditional English dishes. The prices of which are very reasonable. I’m not sure if it is a licensed premises now, previously only soft drinks were served.
I would recommend this place for its atmosphere, reasonably priced food and central location.
