Bar 62

An attractive roomy bar, with a good choice of drinks, and unless the chef has changed since I was last in there, very very tasty food. The bar is trendy yet contemporary & attracts locals from a range of ages & backgrounds.
There is a conservatory bar area, which is nice in summer & winter alike, plus a decent sized beer garden with umbrellas for summer (Handy with our wet summers) & heaters attached for winter & our cold summer nights.
They show football/​rugby on the big screen which will keep guys happy, they also have live bands which are good, but must be deafening if inside (The bands drown out my TV if in the lounge, even with the windows shut, and even if I watch TV in the back bedroom, I still have to turn up my TV to drown out the Band playing in Bar 62, which is why it gets 3 stars not 4 – 5 from me) I pity the houses next door or opposite if the noise is so bad in my home & I’m further down the road!!!
Prices are not bad as long as you don’t order anything to fancy, I’d recommend giving the bar a try, even though the noise pollution, from their bands, in my home infuriate me, when I’m watching something I have been looking forward to on TV or have guests round!

Top place to have a few drinks, and some tasty food, staff are nice and friendly, very cosy in the winter months with candles and warm lighting, nice choice of wine also.

Been here a few times and each time did not disappoint. Friendly owners that take pride in their establishment. Nice ambiance with good food and cold drinks. I love their lamb burgers! Does get a nice crowd in the evenings but very mellow in the mornings. Good place to relax after a long day or to have a quiet breakfast. Would surely recommend.
