Oh hello there, I appear to have stumbled into Southwell’s Oklahoma! (For those reading this review who’ve never been to Oklahoma, it’s a quirky has-​everything-​you-​never-​knew-​you-​needed type shop in Manchester). Myself and Chris’s mum, sister and auntie managed to spend approximately five hours (okay, exaggeration, but we could have been there way longer) browsing gifts and trinkets in this cutesy cluttered shop in this quaint Nottingham town. Nellie is not limited to one particular genre or type of product. There aren’t enough category provisions on Unilocal to cover it.
Toys, bags, baby clothes, crafts, games, cooking equipment (even ready to bake biscuit mixes!), aprons, masses of Cath Kidston… stuff, and great gift ideas including my absolute favourite — those pads you can get which have tickboxes, for example, Things You Can Do To Make Me Happy for other halves, Rate That Wine, Why I Must Get Drunk With You, What We’re Eating This Week… they’re surprisingly useful. I want every single one.
If you’re Christmas shopping in this area you’d be mad to miss it out. It might not be the cheapest option around but you’ll definitely find something for that person in your life you never know what to get for. Definitely add it to the list!
