Jasmine Tree Restaurant

Absolutely wonderful Chinese restaurant! This very popular restaurant provides excellent food with excellent quality, and the staff are very friendly and efficient. There is also a good choice of wines from various countries. We have been going there for many years, and we have never been disappointed. We can recommend the Jasmine Tree without qualification.

The Jasmine Tree in Southport is a small but pleasant Chinese restaurant that offers customers the chance to sit down and talk to each other in a civilised manner whilst enjoying Chinese cuisine, as opposed to going the local chippy and getting a couple of meals to sit with in front of X Factor silently.
The restaurant itself doesn’t look much from the outside but is comfortable and cosy inside, with the staff there being helpful and attentive at all times. The menu is, as you would expect, pretty varied and full of plenty of choice for even the fussiest eater as well as including very nice vegetarian options (as my girlfriend assures me). Their prices are very cheap and even work out cheaper than a lot of local takeaways in the area when push comes to shove; meaning The Jasmine Tree represents one of the best value for money Chinese restaurants in the local area.

The best value chinese in Southport. Early doors 3 course menu is great value at just under £8 last time I looked. Although not as cheap as the lunch time menu main course including rice or chips for just over £3 You can’t get a takeaway at that price. Extra friendly staff — i really recommend the chilli chicken!
