New management are fantastic! Try the pub again now, I believe they have just won pub of the year. Really turned the place around!

Has recently been taken over by a new manager. Hes trying to get it back on track .Does an excellent buy one get one free meal deal. Booze is good and glasses are very clean. People will smoke in Lobby/​Porch (when the weather in inclement) so you walk through putrid smoke going in and going out. Manager has got rid of unsavioury characters. Its my local and would be great to have a really good pub back again.

When this place first opened many years ago it was rather nice, could go and have a quiet drink and a bite to eat. Visiting it again recently I was rather horrified by the change. It was loud, brash and rather trashy. Whilst still a lovely building, children seemed to run riot whilst parents drank and the whole experience meant we did not stay as long as planned.

Used to be a nice pub which served good food. Go down hill a lot since then. Quite rough and ready. Still serves food. Sky television. Choice of drinks good.
