Gulshan Tandori Restaurant

Have had takeaways from Gulshan for over 10 years now. Sad to say quality has diminished in last couple of years.

Me and my family have had the sunday buffet here a few times which was really nice but when we have ordered a home delivery the food wasn’t to its normal high standard which was a shame!

first visited the Gulshan with my parents when I was 14 years old and have been going back regularly ever since.
The Gulshan is one of those rare find restaurants which ticks every box. Fantastic food, great service and value for money.
As you can imagine, after almost 10 years of eating here I have become a familiar face here and the staff are always friendly. They are very attentive but also know when to let you sit back and enjoy your meal without constantly approaching you for re-​fills on your drinks or asking you how your meal is.
The menu prices are reasonable and there is a great choice of dishes. The Chef’s Recommendations are all very good and help you to try something a little different, not your usual Chicken Tikka Masalla etc. Fantastic value for money can be found if you visit on a weekday evening (Mon-​Thurs) when they offer a Midweek Special at £9.99 a person (min 2 people). This includes any starter, any main course, any rice and any vegetable side dish or naan.
I am also a regular take-​away customer at this restaurant and the food quality is just as good when you eat at home. You can also do the £9.99 Midweek Special deal on takeaway orders.
This is one of my favourite restaurants to visit and I highly recommend this to anyone in search of the perfect curry.

We have been hree a couple of times now, the last time will most probably be our last as there are better Indian restaurants in the area.
The food was watery and bland and the waiter was like the food.
I have a friend that went to a wedding reception there a few weeks ago and was very impressed, maybe it is just because I am used to good indian restaurants in Southall!

Sutton Road isn’t great. The shops are dated and the whole street is a bit shabby, but travel a little further because Gulshan is a hidden gem.
The décor is stereotypical Indian restaurant and isn’t being ironic.
The staff are very friendly and get to know the regulars, always stopping by the table to have a chat. They also know when to retreat and leave you to have your meal.
The food is beautifully presented and very tasty and they’ll even cook some dishes to order i.e. not too spicy or blow your head off spicy!
