This place always has polite staff who relish in fancy dress at certain times of the year. Youre always made to feel welcome here. I have been here more than once now and will always be happy to return to here whether it be for an occasion or just for an evening out.

Cheap and cheerful. Food isn;t quite up to standard but it’s an all you can eat buffett so don’t go in expecting fine dining! Although the desserts are pretty good! Good range, great if you have kids or if you are hungover and want to each until you burst!

This is the best all you can eat restaurant in the north east that ive been too. There is such a great choice of food and the deserts are great too, last time i was there for my lunch i could eat nothing else all day. Well worth a visit im going again tommorrow this time with out my kids.

Kids love it, but if you are looking for a good meal fprget it, It reminds me of being on holiday in an all inclusive hotel at meal times, its simply a free for all, same food everytime I have been and the sooner my kids will sit in a real restaurant the bette ris all I can see, Ok for a one off for the novelty but not someone you would want to be a regular at. Food is quite typical and basic, pizza, chips, pasta etc,. the carvery is nice but mash potatoe urgh, best bit is the puddings have to admit they were yummy!

Seriously is this classed as a restaurant? It is a more like animals feeding from a trough. If you have kids perhaps they’ll enjoy it, but certainly not any foodie.

The latest addition to the Taybarns chain, this new restaurant offers the same huge choice of good food — all you can eat and at a decent price. Prices change depend on the time of day and the day of the week. Mon-Fri 11.30 — 5.30 its £5.95 and evenings/weekends it is £7.95. Cheaper for kids under 10. Fantastic selection of food, starters, salads, main caourses and desserts and you really can eat all day! ‘Bottomless’ soft drinks are £1.95, but be careful as they are gassy and can fill you up! Coffees, other soft drinks and beers/wines are at very reasonable prices too. Just lately they seem to have lost a lot of staff and this shows in the cleanliness of the place and the amount of time taken to clear tables etc. If you have a group of fussy eaters or those with different tastes this is the ideal place, as for the same price you can choose from Carvery, Wok, Rotisserie, Grill and more, with a massive selection of food, all freshly prepared and surprisingly made from very good quality ingredients. Highly recommended!
