Vi Stevens is a florist serving the local area around the Stratford Road in Shirley. In my experience, one of its closest competitors in terms of geography is Flower Fayre, located around a mile away, and in my review of that shop, I commented that although a relatively good florist, it was a bit of a mixed bag in terms of products and didn’t seem to specialise in one specific thing, which held it back somewhat. There are no such problems here at Vi Stevens, however, with an appealing look stemming (if you’ll excuse the pub) from the fact that they have greenery quite literally spill on to the pavement. This is definitely a dedicated florist, and they only really sell flowers, so those looking for the associated trinkets would be better served at Flower Fayre. They have a good range of flora, as you’d expect from a shop so full of it, and the prices are standard for Birmingham florists, with a good sized bunch generally setting you back between £4 and £5. Recommended.
