A brilliant sweet and confectionery shop, that really has a nostalgic and magical look and feel to it. An old fashioned sweet shop dragging itself into the 21^st century! All the childhood favourites like bon bons, black jacks, fruit salad, stem ginger, herbal tablets, rhubarb and custard, kola cubes, pick and mix… and the list goes on and on! Mouth watering sweets in huge selection of jars — I literally felt like a kid in a candy store — regardless of age. But it not just boiled sweets — handmade chocolates, toffees, fudge, lollipops, marshmallows, chewy sweets, liqourish — it really is a treat just to be in this shop and have that painfully difficult decision on what to have, secretly wanting it all. Very friendly customer service, this store is open 09.30am to 6.00pm. Mr Simm’s will also deliver to your home for larger orders.
