Smaller than its City Centre counterpart; Cex is a must for all true video gamers out there. With a wide selection of new and used games on sale at great prices you just can’t go wrong. Video games are expensive, yet we still buy them again and again. Like most comparable shops, Cex offers a trade in service where they buy your games in exchange for either cash back or a great trade in value. Cex offers the best prices in town on trade ins. Cex also offers a wide range in older games consoles and their games. If you are fed up of the next generation machines, then come along to Cex and buy a Gamecube or a PS2. The games range from 3 – 10 pounds, a much cheaper option than buying brand new cutting edge games. Cex offers choice to the consumer and doesn’t rip people off. With a domineering online market, Cex seems to still stay strong and this can only be because of the premier service and prices that they offer.

Never been in a shop like this before, its like a giant jumble sale of media stuff. Did get what i thought were a couple of bargain second hand dvds but when i got home i found the wrong disk in one box. As i don’t live in the area i cant take it back-so check before you leave the shop!

better than it used to be, staff seem more friendly and the shop is always busy. most of the games are expensive for preowned goods, but if you know what your doing you can get them cheap by trading in.

Cex sells alot of second hand dvds and games and new ones too. You can sell your own games, dvds, etc to them for cash or their own store credit and you can buy mobiles phones, consoles, etc and is clearly displayed nicely.

Great store, with very knowledgable staff. Great(well organised) range of games in store, and unbeatable trade in prices. Only down point is the very loud punk/nu metal music played there which can make it difficult to ask questions.

A brilliant shop, especially if you are an avid gamer. With the option of trading games, mobile phones and consoles or selling them for cash this shop ensures that you will never get bored of your console. Prices are set and depend on the quality of your item.

This is a computer games, consoles, phones and DVDs exchange shop. I have gone in a few times to get rid of some of the children’s PlayStation 2 games, DVDs no longer watched and you can either get cash back or a voucher for store credit. Beware though as I went in once with about 8 DVDs and they just gave me a voucher for store credit and off I wandered, it was only when I looked at the receipt that I saw 2 of the DVDs had only got 10p worth of store credit! I would have rather given them to a charity shop to sell on than get 10p for them! Still its a good way to update games and DVDs without costing an awful lot of money.

Cex are brilliant for games, go and get a card from them and sell all your completed games in there and either exchange for cash or store credit to buy more games! and they buy and sell mobiles and mp3s and everythings checked to make sure it works before its sold.
