Real nice pub to stay. Went there with a group. Nice eating and drining.

Good town pub with a decent range of beers and lagers. A very nice history and pleasant surroundings.
One of the busier and better town pubs and always a decent crowd in and busy at weekends.
Food looks good aswell although I have not eaten here.
Worth a look in.

Lovely food in the Red Lion, in the summer your find this pub very busy at lunch times they have a seating area outside with a gazibo you can also sit outside to eat your lunch. Prices are brilliant, they have a wide range on their menu’s to suit everyone from a light snack to a full on filling dinner. Children are allowed in this pub, unfortunately you have to sit at the back where space is limited if like me you have a pushchair. The owner is very friendly and will always say hello inside and outside of the pub.
