This place has changed since april 2010 recently re done inside and out seems like the new people have really put a marker in the sand value family food pub me and the wife went in, such a relaxed area now have cask ale’s which is a great thing too, food was good for money too 2 meals for £7.95 well i wish these guys every success nice to see that a firm hand and standards can really change a place i think i will be using this more than the abbey in future !!

A nice big pub with lots of choice of what to drink. Right thats the good points! The BIG problem with this pub is that basically the locals think they run the pub and as soon as you walk in you feel uncomfortable, you cant sit in certain places because its their seat and when we went there kids were running around while their parents were getting drunk and starting fights among themselves!
Avoid like the plague unless you want to mix with 40 somethings still thinking they are 18!
