Royal Bath and West Showground

Situated on the A37 south of Shepton Mallet the showground has events, large and small that take place throughout the year.
The most notorious is the Bath and West Show which takes place in May each year. There are exhibitions galore, lots of lovely food treats to eat and animals to see.
There are smaller events throughout the year that are held within the showground such as the Amateur Gardening Show and Antique Fairs.
A great place to visit although if it has been raining before you visit, you might want to pack a pair of wellies!

The Bath and West Showground is a site used for many events throughout the year. The site is well know for the very popular and well attended Bath dn West show but it is used for so much more.
Most weekends there is a flea market of craft event at the Showground. The national sports weekender, New wine, Truckfest are some of the weekend long shows at the site.
The site itself has several out buildings which host the many events, there are loads of toliets, shower blocks etc at the showground.
There is also a day nursery located within the site near the main enterance which occasional offers childcare or crèche during events. The nursery is open all year round also.
The site contains a very large pond which has some pondlife, fish, ducks etc.
The site is used for day events, week long events, and weekend shows. The site has also been used for the race for life in aid of breast cancer for many years now.
The site covers a vast area of land with areas of grass, gravel and hardstanding. There are also several entrances and ample parking.
