Derek can’t remember his wife’s name but the duo are awsome can’t do enough to help. I have bought one brand new Scott MTB for my son and the bearing’s on the pedals came noisy within a month or so took it back they didn’t have any like for like replacement’s but gave me the value off a better pair to fit no problem.
I am quite a good cycle mechanic myself but had trouble indexing the gears on a time trial bike I had built 10 yrs ago and was now turning it into my every day racing bike I’d bought 2^nd hand STI levers on ebay and some carbon bars but the gears got me Derek sorted with a new lever all at minimum cost.
Then had 2 new wheels after mine split and my wife’s had broken spokes Derek struggled to retain the gear sprocket and transfer to the new wheel and did not even charge just the cost of the new wheel need I say more 100% service.
Not sure they are keen on browsers though I may be wrong but it just seems that way, probably because they get more than there fair share as they are open to an ajoining shopping complex where you can just wander in I suspect they get plenty of bored dads and children around!

The man in the bike shop is so helpful i know nothing about bikes and everytime I have a problem with my daughters bike was take it down and will explain the fault and repair it for a very small cost. We have had tyres and inner tubes replaced.
Last week my daughters breaks stopped working so I popped in with the bike he had a look adjusted them charged me only £1 and we were on our way with a fully working bike.
We have never bought a bike from them but we have looked and he offered plenty of advice and help.
We have bought a helmet in there which the lady fitted and adjusted which as fab as i hate adjusting them!
There is plenty of parking as it is located next to Haskins.
