This is one of two Varsity bars in Sheffield and is mainly aimed at students, being placed near the Collegate Crescent campus. The prices are quite cheap, especially for food, which means that there can be quite a long wait, particularly at lunch time.
The range of beer is rather oridnary, with no real ales, but there are a number of tv screens showing all of the sporting events.
Overall, it’s a standard studenty pub which is worth popping into as part of a pub crawl, but isn’t somewhere I would regularly vist.

I love varsity in general.
Food: value meals, food comes out pretty quick, varsity melts are great!
Discount: good discount with the V cards! you cant go wrong, so makes a cheaper night out. plus student nights a £1 a shot! woop woop
there is a booths and high tables in this Varsity branch, so you can chose if you want comfy or cool haha ^^!
The staff are friendly.
There toliets arent fantastic though.

This is smaller than the Varsity in town and caters mainly as a place for the students at Sheffield Hallam University and employees from the nearby businesses at lunch time. It gets very busy and sometimes there’s a bit of a wait for food but if you have a V Card, the cheap drinks more than make up for it.
It’s usually pretty lively both in the day and at night with students from the halls of residence finding a second home here.
