For Sheffield, this is great, but I’m from California where the burritos from a little dinky Mexican café are better than this. One thing, the burritos are lukewarm and sometimes the tortilla is stone-cold. Don’t they heat them up first? In California, they are griddled so that at least they are warmed through, and in L.A., they are sometimes crispy-hot. Fillings are ok, but the rice is the Uncle Ben’s instant kind, not even Mexican rice. And finally, why are the tacos on flour tortillas? That is just WRONG. I can’t seem to find a single corn tortilla in the UK.

Best Burrito I´ve had in Sheffield. Try it, you will not be disappointed! Large pulled pork burrito is a winner. They have a promotion between 3 and 5, where you get 20% off on a regular size burrito.

Simple the best burrito in town, great place to stop for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Many great options to customise your meal, excellent ingredient, delicious and very filling! Both the fast food joint on Pinstone St and the full sit restaurant on Arundel St are two of my favourite places to eat in Sheffield.

Picked up a Chicken Burrito one Saturday afternoon a few weeks back after realising I hadn’t eaten all day. Lots of filling, decided to go for a mix of ‘standard’ salsa with a little hit of the hot salsa. Glad I didn’t go for a full hot salsa as it really does have a kick! Great value for money, tasty meat, fluffy rice and crisp salad. Cannot complain at all

Having been recommended by a friend, today the lure of Mexican came calling for lunch. Luckily, just a stone’s throw away from the peace gardens, The Street Food Chef answered my call. Recognisable by the laughing chillies hanging out of the shop, and the kitchen hatch feel to the service, Street Chef is a gem. It may not be the most authentic, may not be overly refined but boy can it deliver. Zingy salsa mingles with a delicious cooling guacamole. The sheer size of the burrito itself would be enough for me to recommend, but it’s the vibe of the shop, the roughness but homeliness of the food matched with sitting in the winter gardens on a rainy Sheffield afternoon that would keep me coming back here again and again.
