Not a bad pub by any means but there’s not really anything special about it either. It’s worth a pint in on any pub crawl in town purely because it’s central. It does have a very good range of ale and the prices are very fair. There’s plenty of seating and it’s almost got a traditional look about it. It can get very full at weekends and often becomes very rowdy. I’ve never eaten in there but I’ve not heard anything bad about the food.
