When you want a great curry without going somewhere more formal or into the City Centre this is my go-to. Great food and a friendly atmosphere. Important to note is that it’s unlicensed so take your own alcohol and they will store it for you.

Nice restaurant. Having visited the Rajput takeaway years before, my gf and i were intrigued to try the new restaurant. Good choice of fish dishes which my gf approves of and I loved the chicken tikka and vegetable rice. The restaurant was busy which is a good sign and the food is priced as you would expect, as it isn’t in the city centre. You can take your own alcohol and there are a few pubs in the area for drinks to enjoy after as well. The staff were ok, nothing special and the food arrived very quickly. The only downside for me was the size of the naan bread and the close proximity of the other tables. All in all I enjoyed my evening here and would definitely go back.

Decent restaurant if you can’t be bothered heading to the city centre. You can bring your own alcohol and the food is competitively priced.

Ive eaten in the restauant only a couple of times, but the takeaway right nextdoor is just as good. Its defiately one of the better curry houses in the area, great food and good service.

A good Commonside curry house with a decent menu. I’m not a regular yet, but what I’ve had has been as good as you could expect from a reasonably priced and out of-the-way option.
