Accessible from Sheffield town centre by various bus services that take about 20 minutes and stop directly outside the stables (ask the driver to say when), Barnes Green is a good riding school provding BHS approved lessons, treks and Hacks in the woodlands behind the yard and lessons in horsemanship.
The lessons are available for individuals and groups and hat hire is available. The only negative is that there is no indoor school which means being prepared to get wet if working in the outdoor schooling ring.
