The Bluebelle

Great place! Nice surroundings, good entertainment and a brilliant atmosphere. Probably the best bar in Royton!

This is a good pub for a night out as it offers entertainment it also as all sports on at the weekend I’ve been here for meals to and each time I come it changes its style of menu it as since I was last here change management my bro in law came to stay with us one weekend and went to see one of the artist that was appearing as he had heard that they were good he seemed to have a good night out its as also been extended and had many a change in its set up as I said before I like this pub but what will you make off it, its very nice inside,

Blue Belle is situated in Royton Oldham and is a fairly new restaurant i was slightly wary when we first dined here, as the previous restaurant was not nice at all, but the Blue belle has really pulled the stops out the food is amazing well cooked, beautifully presented and the staff are polite and customer focused. We had the sunday lunch with apple pie and custard and i can truely say it deserve a michelin star!!!
Tasted just like grannys dinner do!!! 2 course meal for two with two drink £24 Bargain!!!

Wow! That was my reaction when i saw this revamped pub/​restaurant in Royton.
It used to be the Travellers Rest and my god the transformation is impressive, it is now vibrant, modern and welcoming, a complete change to how it was.
They serve food virtually all day until 9pm and they even serve coffee and breakfast from 9am till 11.30am.
I have been in there quite a few times for food and i have to say that everytime i have been impressed, the food is wholesome and fresh, and despite the prices being slightly above average for the area it is well worth it in my opinion.
The atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back and it is an ideal place to take that special person for a quiet meal and/​or drink.
Hence then that this isnot going to get your usual football/​sports crazy boozers due to having no Tv’s, jukebox etc.
The one downside, and it is not anything major is that when it is busy you do feel like a bit like being sat in a goldfish bowl due to tables being very close to bar area.
The staff have always been friendly and for me this place is a little diamond of Royton and more people need to check it out.
