Armstrongs

This is a nice clean environment serves quite a large fish and chips
And various pies and peas they also do some thing called specials
For some one who doesn’t know what these are as I found out
They are potatoes thinly slice covered in batter deep fried they are very nice I like these if you don’t want to big a meal they will do you can have any number of them three is more than enough these are of course to take out there’s is a little table and chairs out side on the pavement if you so wish but I took mine to the nearby memorial gardens, I really enjoyed them yes you do get a large fish ‚
You could feed a couple of kids and your self with one portion in that way excellent value but there’s always a but not very good on rainy days unless of course you live nearby,

Home of the Jumbo Cod.
If you live in the most northerly point of Manchester & the Prestwich area then you have properly already seen or had Armstrongs Chippy with its iconic «Home of the Jumbo Cod» slogan.
But for the rest of us, this family run chippy is unknown and that people is a shame.
The Armstrongs in Shaw has been open a while now but I’ve never ever really ventured until one day I got a real craving for Fish & Chips. I’ve ventured to quite a few Fish & Chips establishments while out on patrol for my dinners but nowhere matches Armstrongs.
The servings are huge.
A potion of Chips can easily feed two people.
The Jumbo Cod is humongous !
