Atemberaubende Kulisse.

Seven Sisters Country Park is one of many natural beauty spots I’m lucky to have virtually on my doorstep living in beautiful Sussex. It is the gateway to Cuckmere Haven, and the seven(actually eight) consecutive chalk cliffs that make up the famed seven sisters, and lead from here to Eastbourne. It’s a challenging walk if you do the whole lot but the scenery can be magnificent. It’s also part of the South Downs Way, a 100 mile walk from Winchester to Eastbourne that I completed over the summer. The park itself has lots of parking facilities for both cars and coaches, meaning it is accessible for many people. There is a visitors centre on site which provides information on the history, geology and wildlife of the area, plus a shop, café and toilet facilities. You can also hire bikes here, and due to there being a proper path through the park, it’s a great place to cycle with the kids, and even push buggies down to the beach. its also a favourite place for kayakers, dog walkers and runners. Part of the area is protected and people are advised to keep away from these areas, as such it is also home to many unusual species of birds and animals. If you live in the vicinity, or if you want to escape the cities, this is an ideal place to come for either a quiet stroll down to the shoreline, or a challenging trek across to Eastbourne.
