A very nice country house and park just outside the village of Normanby. Plenty of car parking and overflow parking in the adjoining fields. There are large expanses of woodland which is lovely just to stroll through, as well as duck ponds, ornamental ponds and a deer park. In summer the minature stream train runs. There is a café that sells good food and snacks at good prices. Big problem is the price of entry, which is extortionate.

A really great country park on the outskirts of Scunthorpe. Plenty of green space to walk in, also has Deer park, the house it’s self to visit and the Walled garden. My own favourite is the Walled garden, with the different types of veggies and fruits they grow and the hothouse. Has a riding school within the park and a really good café, serving hot and cold drinks and light lunches.
