Very comfortable room, but the wifi did not work. Staff less than helpful, although always smiling when they tell you it’s your fault. The breakfast is one of the bargains in the UK. The steak night is a real deal. Wide selection of good beers. Car park is a bit away, but the hotel is central to city centre and the cathedral. Even with the problems, it still gets 4 stars.

Well its a lloyds bar without few redeeming features and a lack of good choice of real ales. However as Salisbury is bot great for pubs its not a bad place if you are stuck.

While exploring Salisbury during a leisurely day visit, I discovered this excellent restaurant and hotel. The location, service and cuisine were good. It is always interesting talking with the manager, gives a feel for the whole place. The variety of places to sit with varying views and seating arrangements gives it character. Certainly would recommend a visit. Global Nomad

The usual spoons pub. Nicely layed out on two levels. Beer is good, staff are happy to give tasters. Food is ok, usual standard. Staff do have selective memory. Only hears you when they want to. Overall nice cheap place.

Having only stayed for a drink in this place i can not review the hotel. Located in the centre of the city this place is certainly convenient for thirsty drinkers. However, since the wetherspoons takeover his place has gone from bad to worse. The pub was initially named the town house, a popular haunt for mindless teenagers and the bevy of strange people that populate the town centre. Not a great pub by any stretch of the imagination. The food was sub-par and the drinks and venue are really nothing special whatsoever. Steer clear.
