Lakeland

I have to admit to have been in on more than one occasion looking for one thing or another when I have a hair brained scheme to cook something.
I actually like this shop. It has a bright and breezy feel to it along with incredibly friendly and helpful staff, although I think they took pity on me as I clearly had no idea, or so they may have thought.
Put it this way, the staff certainly knew their onions, were happy to share the wealth of knowledge and I came away none the worse for wear having ventured over to the dark side. Result!

My mum and nan are always going into Lakeland and can’t walk past it without a «quick» browse around the aisles! They are currently collecting useful household items for me as I want to live independently at some point! I am sure I will have the largest collection of Lakeland products in Salisbury at this rate!

I visited Lakeland on a shopping trip with a group of family and friends a little while ago. I ended up having buying a Remoska which is absolutely brilliant. Its only a quarter of the wattage that an electric oven is and you’re only heating a small area. It cooks everything I’ve put in it wonderfully. cheap to run. Anyway, Lakeland. Lakeland is really interesting. It has some wonderfully practical products (like the Remoska) and some totally useless ones in my opinion. Prices are not cheap but the variety is great. The staff are always really good and very well trained and their customer
service when you have a problem over the phone is second to none. I always pop into one of these stores when there is one around to see what they have and can spend ages browsing the store. Customer service over the telephone is also second to none.

This shop has been extended fairly recently so there are many more items of stock. I love the Lakeland products and I am a great fan of their freezer bags, dish cloths, and large pegs. It is the sort of shop that you wander into and come out spending a fortune on things that you never knew you needed. They are genius, because you don’t feel bad about it — everything there is useful. The staff are well trained and helpful. Last time I visited there I had to pay for their bags which I thought was a bit mean because I had bought a lot of things on impulse and can’t carry that many bags on a day trip.
