The Spa at the Lowry Hotel is expensive, as you would expect but definitely worth it. It has an almost transcendental feel to it so you could be somewhere far more tranquil than the city centre — it is a neutral space but in no way generic.
Try to opt for a day package where you can also enjoy lunch. Each treatment progresses from one to another so there’s no waiting around. Your lunch is served at the side of the main treatment area and you can eat in your dressing gown which always feels quite luxurious!
I had a facial then moved on to lunch before enjoying a soothing massage.
They offer various special deals throughout the year so it’s worth checking the website or calling them for offers. It’s a fantastic way to celebrate a birthday or simply relax after a hectic dissertation hand in.
