Perfectly placed at the bottom of my street, The Home of Honest Coffee is great for when I may have drank a little bit too much the night before or when I need somewhere peaceful to get on with some work.
The offer a small but lovely brunch menu, all food is locally sourced and profits all get put straight back into the community.
I was starving so opted for the bacon on wholemeal toast and eggs on toast. It may have been the best breakfast I have had in a long time! Really delicious! The coffee sadly wasn’t too great but the service was pleasant.
The workspace is really comfy and the WiFi was speedy. :)

I came across The Home of Honest Coffee whilst wandering down Chapel St and decided to pop in and see what it’s all about.
It’s quite a large space with a few tables placed near the counter area.
The staff in here were immediately so friendly! And I entered into a conversion with the guy behind the coffee counter as to what they’re all about.
The product of a kickstarter, they’ve only been open less than a week and the guys are making it their mission to sell the best coffee around and put all the profits back into the community. Excellent.
I ordered my latte and grabbed a seat.
They have a separate creative working and meeting space that is completely free to use and benefits from free, very fast, wifi. You don’t even have to buy anything if you don’t want to — but surely nobody is that mean!
The coffee was excellent — so i’ll be back soon to try their menu of salads and sandwiches!
