Guacamole Mexican Bar & Cantina

This is the best Mexican restaurant we’ve found in the UK. The food is authentic and delightful.
Set right on the high street, the restaurant’s décor is warm and inviting. Very comfortable, but maintaining a clean and professional look.
The food is Devine! Being from Southern California we grew up on good Mexican food and have struggled to find a good restaurant since moving to the UK in 2002. Imagine our joy when one opened so close to home! I highly recommend anything with mole. It is amazing.
The service is great and the food comes out at lightning speed. They also have a great selection of drinks to include one of my favorite Mexican beers, Negra Modelo. If you’re feeling adventurous, try one of their creative Mexican themed cocktails or mocktails. The few we’ve tried are fantastic.
The place gets a little busy, so it’s not a bad idea to book in advance. That said, we’ve managed three visits without reservations.
Overall great experience. Highly recommended!
