I very much enjoy the Duck Pond Market in Ruislip — you’re never quite sure what you’ll find but there are some regulars attendees we always go to. For example there is a fantastic pork butchers on the farmer days that does some seriously delicious sausages and pies. They also have some hot food and you can have a great pork burger, a sausage roll or one of their excellent sausages. We also very much enjoy the cheese guy, and have also been known to buy crafts from here as well. All in all, it’s a wonderful way to spend a Sunday morning.

I live locally so often go to this twice monthly Sunday market. The one at the beginning of the month only has a few stalls but the one n the third Sunday is always busy with lots of choice of food and crafts. Great for finding something different. I’ve always loved the food I get here, especially the hummus and the chutneys from parsons preserves. I would recommend you try the fruit for fun raspberry gin which is delicious and all profits go to a local charity. Good way to spend sometime here browsing on a Sunday, although doesn’t take long as it is not that big.

In a lovely old barn in Ruislip, there’s a market twice a month. On the first Sunday of the month it’s a farmers market, and the third is an Artisan Food and Craft Market. I’d rank the farmers market a 3.5, and the artisan market a 4.5, hence my middle-of-the road 4 star. The farmers market tends to not have enough fruit and veg, and the artisan market can be a bit heavy on the jewelery. But overall, it’s a nice way to spend half an hour on a Sunday, getting some tasty treats and interesting gifts. There’s always things for the kids too, like a petting zoo or a face painter.
