It doesn’t deserve the one star this is so bad. An embarrassment to the industry. It is a Monday at 130 and my gran and I tought it would be nice to come in for a burger and a pizza. In an empty restaurant we waited to be seated, her on her crutches standing at the door was ignored by the manager at the bar who was more preoccupied with the two girls who were sitting there. After waiting 30minutes for a coke and milkshake it takes another 20 for our food to arrive. The pizza wasn’t cut as gran requested and the burger so black and burnt it was inedible. The bun literally charred and hard as a rock. The chips were old stale and cold. On top of this the manager could see our obvious dissatisfaction and made no apology or consideration. Never coming again. Strongly suggest you go to Subway next door if you find yourself in the area. Just so disappointing I can’t even tell you. Poor granny!

menu really good, lots to choose from, atmosphere nice — only thing is it is a little dark! good location to get to with ample parking, nice place for a birthday party

Love this F&B. The arrangement of the seating is what I like the most. The booth style gives it that American feel and less like a canteen such as you get with the other F&B’s. Food at these places is always palatable and staff are usually attentive. Downside has always been the noise from when the place is packed full of kids. Situated on a out of town retail park it has enough parking nearby.

This restaurant offers good but somewhat pricey food and I’ve only been let down once during countless visits and that was only due to an overcooked steak which was returned. My main gripe here is that at times the noise from families with children overpowers the place with screaming and shouting. These places should appreciate that some patrons would prefer to sit somewhere quiet and actually be able to hear each other. What normally happens is that we are seated in a quiet section(which we think is a result) and then the next waitress will sit a family next to us(normally the ones with Damien as a child) which consequently ruins the meal. If you want a quiet respectable meal then I would recommend the later the better and certainly not in the afternoon!

Myself and my family go to Frankie and Bennys quite often, i would probally say once a month. Its convientley situated on the junction one retail park, so great for families coming from the cinema or bowling. My children tend to always go for the pizza, which they adore, and i love it when we get there in time for the early bird special in which the kids eat for free anyway, is great especially when you have a son like mine whom is a human dustbin. Myself and my husband always go for thier pasta dishes which are really yummy, and i like the fact you can see the chefs making them freshly. The desserts are also very nice, my fav being the cheesecake. its very reasonably priced, and is well worth a visit. They have a private car park also which normally has spaces, i suppose as the cark parking facilities are brilliant anyway, and families like ourselves normally park next to the cinema and then walk over after we finish.

I only visited here for dessert but– yummy! I had cheesecake it tasted good and was moist and fluffy– everything you would want from a cheesecake! I love themed restaurants– geeky I know, but this is a great American hangout. The food I have been told is delish and I can attest to the desserts. There was so much choice of dessert– everything from cheesecake to Tiramisu, Ice Cream to Crumble. I had delish Chocolate Orange Profiteroles(which if you didnt know are Choux pastry buns filled with orange chocolate– I know unhealthy but really fab way to end an evening out.) Recommended restaurant.
